From a collective to an association:

Preserving our gastronomic heritage

At the beginning of the 21st century, a group of chefs, restaurateurs, and gastronomy enthusiasts from Tossa de Mar came together with a common goal. Preserving and promoting the culinary richness of our town united us. With the support of the town hall, this collective began recovering traditional recipes, organizing gastronomic events, and promoting activities that define our identity. Over the years, the passion for Tossan cuisine grew, as did the need to consolidate this movement. Thus, around 2023, the collective took a step further and became the Traditional Tossan Cuisine Association.

This entity is dedicated to researching, promoting, and disseminating our gastronomic heritage. Today, efforts are made to ensure that traditional recipes are not forgotten. The aim is to pass them on to new generations and place Tossan cuisine on the gastronomic map. From events, workshops, and collaborations with local producers to initiatives that highlight our culinary history, we work to keep the essence of Tossa's flavors alive.
